The Kirana Ungasan is located on Bali’s bukit peninsula and is approximately a 25-minute drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport. The resort is blessed with an elevated landscape that overlooks the south part of the island. The volcanic Mount Agung and Mount Batur are clearly visible on fine days.

The popular fishing village of Jimbaran, known for its pristine stretch of white sand beach and seafood cafes, is just 10 minutes away. There are several famous surf breaks in the area including Balangan, Dreamland, Bingin, Padang-Padang and Uluwatu. Along with world-class waves, south Bali is known for its laid-back bars such as Single Fin and Sunday’s Beach Club.

Local sites of interest include the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park that is home to one of the world’s largest monuments. Visitors can walk around the park, sample local cuisine and enjoy daily performances of the Kecak Dance. Perched on a limestone cliff high above the Indian Ocean, Uluwatu Temple is a superb spot to watch Bali’s celebrated sunset.
